Fluid Pay® Customer Vault Feature

A vault that takes PCI off your merchants' plate.

The Customer Vault stores the sensitive bits — cards, ACH accounts, addresses — inside Fluid Pay® instead of inside your merchants' systems. Their PCI scope drops to SAQ A in most cases. Yours doesn't change at all, because we're already a Level 1 PCI Service Provider.

A vault record can be created from the merchant's Control Panel, the Virtual Terminal, Tokenizer, Processa, or directly via API. Once it exists, the merchant references it by ID for any future charge — including recurring billing.

The Customer Vault is wired into the entire Fluid Pay® gateway and is core infrastructure for the Recurring Billing ecosystem.

Less sensitive data on the merchant's system, less PCI exposure, less friction in the next charge.

Reduce PCI compliance

All sensitive data lives with us, not the merchant. We're a Level 1 PCI DSS Service Provider — your merchants get the heavier compliance lifted off their stack. Their annual audit gets cheaper; the SAQ they file gets simpler.

Advanced customer details

Save multiple payment methods and addresses per customer. Add descriptions and custom fields so the vault carries whatever the merchant's back office actually needs.

Search across every field; filter on multiple fields at once. Useful when the merchant has tens of thousands of customers and needs to find one in seconds.

Share vault records between merchants

For multi-location operators or franchise groups: enable record sharing between merchants in the same group, so one customer profile serves every location without duplicating cards on file.

Pairs natively with every Fluid Pay® product

The same vault powers the Virtual Terminal, Recurring Billing, Processa, E-Invoicing, and Tokenizer. Your merchants store a card once, charge it everywhere.

Refresh expired cards automatically

Add the Automatic Account Updater and the vault keeps itself current — expired or replaced cards get refreshed in the background, before the next charge fails.
